Change agent

To suffer woes which Hope thinks infinite;
To forgive wrongs darker than death or night;
    To defy Power, which seems omnipotent;
To love, and bear; to hope till Hope creates
From its own wreck the thing it contemplates;
    Neither to change, nor falter, nor repent;
This, like thy glory, Titan, is to be
Good, great and joyous, beautiful and free;
This is alone Life; Joy, Empire, and Victory!

—Prometheus Unbound, Shelley

the single best invention of life

Everything else is secondary.
Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.

You've touched all of our lives, and truly will never die.
RIP Steve

I bought my first Mac SE in 1989 and started my own business, having worked for someone else to that point. The Mac launched a very successful career where we now have 6,000 sq/ft of editing and visual effects technology all Mac based. Even through the dark years of Apple we never lost faith. Without Steve Jobs I would never have had the career I've been able to create based on Apple technology. Thank you Steve. We will miss you and your brilliance, terribly.

We bought our first computer, a Mac, in 1984. It came with two programs, MacWrite and MacPaint. Along with a dot matrix Apple printer, it cost us over $3,000, or probably the equivalent of $5000 in today's dollars. It changed our lives, and even though we could only afford to buy it on credit, it was the best investment my wife and I have ever made.

Odd to think that I could buy 10 iPad 2's for that price today.

I believe that making the world a better place is our holy task. We all try to, but Steve succeeded.
